Your invitation to be a part of a Fall 2026 Art Show in SF!

The idea:

I’m looking for 6-8 artist friends to exhibit our artwork together in a cute and cozy exhibition in the upcoming year. I reached out to you because I want to

  1. Unite my talented creative friends who don’t have a big selling/sharing platform

  2. Give us a large creative project to work toward in 2026

  3. Give us a chance to showcase and sell our work to friends and the public

  4. Form creative community

My projected date for this show is a weekend (1 or 2 days?) in September 2026 for a 4-5 hour window (ex: 12-5pm), giving us ~8 months to create our pieces. We would work together with the venue to find a date that works for all of us.

All confirmed artists would be encouraged to share inspo and WIP with each other and ask for feedback in a safe space (most likely an Instagram group).

This would be an opportunity for you to push yourself conceptually and across diverse mediums. Think BIG, think outside of your typical day-to-day work, think ✨elevated and thought-provoking art exhibition✨

…but please don’t let this description scare you! It’s just a way to ask you to push your comfort zone and work toward making things you’re exceptionally proud of and want more eyes on. I support anything you make!

What I would need from you:

To showcase, I request that you have

  1. 5-10 pieces. Can be anything! (Paintings, collages, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, zines, textiles, etc.) You will determine whether or not they’re for sale and their price.

  2. A theme for your own pieces. This doesn’t have to relate to other artists’ work—we’ll come up with a unified theme/name together for the overall art show later.

  3. Smaller things to sell [optional]. If you have stickers, prints, smaller functional ceramics, etc., that you’d like to bring to sell aside from your large showcase pieces.

  4. Commitment by filling out this Google Form by the end of January 2026.

  5. Small monetary payment. It will be no more than $40 to help with venue rental, printing, and snacks for the show. Exact amount will come once we figure out the rental cost.

My role in this project:

  • Pushing you and your work conceptually and thematically!

  • Leading communication with the venue to figure out show timing, layout, and how to mount/display all our work

    • I’m reaching out to venues with this art show pitch once we’ve confirmed all artists

    • Here’s my current list of venues (all currently in SF), but let me know if you have any suggestions or connections 🙏🏼

  • Printing labels and signage for the art pieces and creating show marketing (Partiful event and digital flyer) when the time comes

  • Working on my own pieces (considering an Asian aromatics theme)
